Where does footballer Djibril Cissé live?
2018 World Cup requires, interview with Djibril Cisse. But the footballer has three other passions: deco, fashion and music. Interview on electro background.
Since the end of his career as an international footballer and for the pleasure of his fans, Djibril Cissé has made a beautiful conversion: a clothing brand "Mr. Lenoir" (and many collab) a label of hip-hop music and a biography published late 2015 "A lion never dies".
We met him, he told us about his Paris apartment. Because if he is based in Corsica, where he has a house to reunite his family and his friends. He also likes to meet at his home, in his favorite neighborhood: the Marais.

Fashion is a passion that you have for how long?
Djibril Cisse: Since I was young, I have always loved fashion. I had launched a first brand before that of Mr. Lenoir that I created in 2012. The love of fashion is stronger than anything. Even if I do not draw, I give the artistic direction and validate each model.

And in deco, what style do you like?
Djibril Cisse: I like to mix the very contemporary - in this case the furniture from Kartell - with some old pieces.
The most unusual or unexpected that can be discovered at home?
Djibril Cisse: This is the very form of the apartment because it is all in length: it was designed by a boat architect.
What appealed to you when you visited this apartment?
Djibril Cisse: Its original form and Haussmann style. And also the fact that it is located in the Marais district that I love because I can do everything on foot.
Your favorite room where you like to be and spend time?
Djibril Cisse: The lounge is both very modern and cozy for relaxation. There is a huge black and gray sofa, with big cushions, a big glass coffee table. On the decorative side, I have some beautiful pieces by Jeff Koons, especially royal poodles: a red, a black ...

Djibril Cisse: A set of four Louis Vuitton trunks dating from the eighteenth: they belonged to a maharadja. I bought them at an auction. It symbolizes luxury, travel ...

Your favorite color in your home?
Djibril Cisse: The walls are white but all the objects and furniture are black.
Your last purchase - useful or futile! - for the House ?
Djibril Cisse: The last piece I did was in 2015 for the birth of our son. I did not want to make a classic nursery : I wanted to give color and put design! I had a crush on a super steel high chair that has an egg shape.
The kitchen, rather open or closed?
Djibril Cisse: It is open to the living room. The meals are taken on a glass table by Philippe Starck in the dining room.
A dish unexpectedly on the go for your friends?
Djibril Cisse: Chicken with steamed vegetables. It's not very "fun" but it's very healthy and right now, I'm paying attention to my line.
And the TV, which room?
Djibril Cisse: I can not live without it. There are some in every room. And most importantly, I installed a projector with big screen in the living room. So, I have privileged indirect lighting and removed the luster.
Do you live with music or rather in silence?
Djibril Cisse: There is always music or TV.
Rather candle or rather perfume of atmosphere?
Djibril Cisse: I'm a fan of Diptyque and especially the fragrance "Baies".
Curtains, doors, shutters? What does it inspire you?
Djibril Cisse: For the cozy side, I had very beautiful black velvet curtains of three meters high installed.
What is on your bedside table?
Djibril Cisse: A Philippe Starck bedside lamp and a clock radio.
A deco trick or storage?
Djibril Cisse: Like on a boat, all storage is hidden in the walls.
Do you dream of one more room? If so, for what purpose?
Djibril Cisse: A gym and another to install a home theater.
Rather orderly or messy?
Djibril Cisse: A bit of both. I am a messy who masters. When I arrive home, I scatter everything and after an hour, I start to tidy up.
Are you green plants, flowers, balcony, terrace, garden?
Djibril Cisse: It is rather in Corsica that it happens. In Paris, it's complicated because I'm not enough for the plants to resist. But when I'm there, I offer flowers to my girlfriend.
