Ladurée offers an enchanted parenthesis in Geneva

India Mahdavi

For his new space on the shores of Lake Geneva, Ladurée has calls on the designer India Mahdavi. She imagined a dreamlike and velvety world where the pleasure of the palace is king.

This is the second time the architect designer India Mahdavi collaborates in the decoration of a restaurant Ladurée. After her shop in Los Angeles, the bakery sign again calls on her to its Geneva restaurant. Inspired by his personal universe, India Mahdavi transforms this new place into a garden of fresh and colorful sweetness.

An amazing encounter

One, founded by Louis Ernest Ladurée at 16 rue Royale, Paris, is "sweets maker" since 1862. The other is a renowned designer architect for his glamorous style and happy colors. The Ladurée House had already appealed to India Mahdavi to build its Los Angeles boutique. This time, the creator with pop and nomadic influences imagines "a sensory and ultra-contemporary journey, a world of freshness".

A dreamlike tasting area

In the mythical Hotel Bergues Founded in 1834, India has staged a place with a boudoir spirit and pastel shades. She designed three spaces, pastry, restaurant, starry lounge, where sensual roundness is revealed in the details: fluted countertops, scalloped chairs, halos of baskets lapped on the walls, ceiling lights meringues ... A tale in three dimensions, a subtle setting to welcome the delights of the famous pastry.

A sweet / savory card made by a chef

The map, developed by the Chief Jean Sévègnes, offers seasonal menus, cheeses and meats from the region and a choice of wines by the glass. For the opening, a limited edition box lilac color and green turf of seven macaroons was designed by India. An enchanted parenthesis to offer on the shore of the lake.
