The industrial and financial city of Gurgaon, close to the Indian capital New Delhi, has experienced hyper-urbanization since 1970. In the midst of this industrial effervescence, the architects of SPA Design, based in New Delhi, have built the headquarters of textile company in a contemporary Indian style that finds its inspiration in ... the fifteenth century Adalaj stepwell and in the hanging gardens of Babylon. SPA, founded in 2005 by the architect Stéphane Paumier, a graduate of École Paris-Belleville and nominated for the Agha Khan Award in 2010, knows how to mix local craftsmanship, modern technology and innovative materials to create designs that bring tradition and local expertise at the heart of the projects.

High arched ceilings of 3.35 m made of hand-made bricks and supported by exposed mushroom-shaped columns create visible workspaces thanks to the large windows.

To create the innovative aesthetic of the Triburg building, the architects chose to expose the concrete of the mushroom-shaped columns and to exhibit hand-made clay bricks to dress the exterior of the building and build the vaulted ceilings. inside. Thanks to the four large courtyards that optimize daylighting, the planted terraces that protect against extreme weather conditions, high efficiency double glazing and efficient insulation, the building has been awarded the highest possible ecological rating in India. At the Triburg headquarters, a new era of commercial buildings has emerged.

A serpentine plan integrates four units that share the same basement and start from a first two-storey building to finish, at the back, with a building 30 m high and 8 floors.
