A white stay, cold and without character? Do not panic, Sophie Ferjani helps a surfer to create a cozy atmosphere and refurbish the space in his living room.
SOS Sophie tackles the case of Sophie P. She has just moved into her new home and she does not find any ideas to arrange her stay. Main goal: warm the mood.
The 4 tips of Sophie Ferjani in summary
1. Repaint the doors
At first, repainting the white doors visible in the living room can better melt them in the decor. They are no longer obvious in the room. Sophie Ferjani also proposes to paint bayadères on the wall and on the doors to hide them even more in the decoration. But beware, only asymmetrical bayaders will create this illusion.
2. Give more room to the living room
The living room occupies only one sixth of the living room. In addition, the dining room is located opposite, a large gap exists between these two parts. Sophie Ferjani advises to enlarge the living room and refurbish it. In place of the small sofa, she proposes to put a sofa of three meters long. If Sophie P. does not find a large enough bench, she will find at brands like Alinéa combinations of modules.
Sophie Ferjani also advises placing four small poufs in the living room to create a cozy space that invites relaxation.

3. Create storage space on the big living room wall
The wall of the living room is very big. It does, however, only a small hanging television and a storage cabinet. Sophie Ferjani proposes to create a large wall of furniture, low enough, giving an impression of unity and incorporating the TV. Sophie B. will be able to find complementary furniture at hers at Ikea.
4. Betting on decorative accessories to warm the room
To decorate the room's new large piece of furniture, the decorator proposes placing cushions on the low cabinet, transforming it into a bench facing the sofa.
Then she advises to install curtains at the window of the living room or even curtains to warm the atmosphere. Sophie P. can also invest in a large carpet of 2 x 3 meters or cut a rectangle of carpet of this size.
The final touch of Sophie P's salon decoration is also the installation of pretty suspensions. Instead of the existing bare bulbs, the decorator advises to choose lamps that fall low for a nice cozy living room.
