It colors the walls and revives the memories of three generations. In the meantime, Pierre Frey's son Patrick became a father, his children had sons and a collection of Confettis children's fabrics and wallpapers has just been created. It's cool, it's Frey.

In the Frey family, we have the sense of the family as we have business acumen. It is inscribed in genes as a truth that asserts itself through seasons and generations.

At Les Frey, decoration is a family story

Around the name, the first names follow one another. Peter first, the founder, the self-taught. Having learned the trade from the Burger and Lauer fabric editors, he started his own business in 1935. Séduits, decorators, painters and artists took part in the house climb. The torch is taken over by Patrick Frey, only son of Pierre Frey. He owes his father's passion for the fabric, but also his mother, textile designer, and his maternal grandfather René Prou - renowned decorator of the thirties. He is 22 years old in 1969, when he enters the house and it is urgent to prove himself. In 1975, he became responsible for the creation and president of Pierre Frey, a year later. Today, his sons Pierre, Vincent and Mathieu, have joined the family adventure. Everyone plays their role, from creation to international influence. Around a collection of more than seven thousand references signed by Pierre Frey, the houses Braquenié, Fadini Borghi and Boussac joined the family history. A panoramic textile that opens the field of possibilities, drawings and materials and prices. A name that keeps its promises to each collection.

And a decor inspired by childhood memories

Among our favorites of the last Paris Déco Off, high mass of the fabric editors held last January, exposing the creative prowess of some, the techniques and know-how of others, we spotted a small nugget, the "Confetti" collection. We love him for his prints and his embroidery, for his fairies, his enchanted forest, his drawings of children, his funny alphabet, his cars in a labyrinth, his origami animals, but we love him especially for this that she tells in the background. The story of three generations of men who made cloth, their profession of faith. In 1980, Patrick Frey created a children's collection for his sons. At the time Pierre was 4 years old, Vincent 2 years old. Thirty years later, with the arrival of his grandsons Vasco, Estebàn and Georges, he has just created "Confettis". A collection that has taken in its fibers, the extra soul that speaks to all of us. That of childhood.
