Close to Persian pink, the gourmet rose of the kitchen boosts the space of a feminine note facing the candid harmony of the dining room.

For an interior with pep's, dare to put color in your decor! Blue, pink, yellow or red, colors come together for a contemporary interior. From the simple red armchair to the aubergine doors and the blue staircase, go for a flashy house! South side takes you to visit that of Guta Moura Guedes in Portugal ...

Let's go to Portugal at Guta Moura Guedes to pick a merry bouquet of architecture. There is the blue of the sky, the greedy rose or the sun yellow, all thrown on the palette to imagine a unique decorative picture.

The house of Guta Moura Guedes, renovated by architect Pedro Gadanho, is a hymn to color. The stairwell, imagined as a blue sky guitar whose only rope would be painted yellow, hides a lift for suitcases.

The history of images

We are near Lisbon in the house of Guta Moura Guedes, president of Experimenta Design in its multilevel space renovated by the Portuguese architect Pedro Gadanho, currently curator of the architecture department at MoMA in New York. It's a populated house, here and there, by ghosts straight out of David Lynch's films. There are strange objects like the capsule bathroom at the end of the hallway ... here it goes through the wall and turns into a red and white medicine capsule in a corner of the children's room.

And we inevitably think of Damien Hirst when he inaugurated his retrospective at the Tate Modern. By its size we also think of Claes Oldenburg, the Swedish artist whose sculptures of everyday objects are always gigantic. But beyond art, Guta Moura Guedes loves color and light and admits that for the renovation of her home late nineteenth, it is not so much the furniture that was in question, but the strength of colors that was the heart of the discussion. Eliminate orange, place in ice-strawberry pink in the kitchen, aubergine near the azul staircase, yellow sun and emerald blue-green. Once again, Pedro Gadanho breaks with the codes and tones of minimalist architecture. The extravagance of color is so much more fun!

A bit of raspberry red ... on a futuristic chair, which seems to have been designed for a film set, like a reflection space coiled in one of the most poetic pieces of the house.
