She has also gathered her best addresses and lots of tips in a book published by Flammarion (April 2016) entitled "The flea market of Eglantine".

Can you describe the principle of your interior?

Eéanthine Eglantine: It is a large single room of 70m2 where I arranged my office-stay-kitchen: everything is apparent in the same space. Separations are only created by the furniture. Everything is open, fluid ... even the bathroom has no ceiling but just partitions. The light is permanent thanks to the canopy and the windows that overlook a courtyard, except for the rooms which are partitioned and arranged on a mezzanine. The only minor drawback of this fully open apartment is that you can hear everything!

Your favorite space in this living room?

Eéanthine Eglantine: My desk ! And also my toilet! This is my corner, painted in rust-red and I took care to decorate with shelves, pictures, a candle ... This is where I live with my books and newspapers!

Your furniture: rather modern, ultra design, family, pitcher?

Eéanthine Eglantine: The set is warm and consists only of antique furniture: wood, leather and an industrial touch. In the entrance, there is a collection of old clocks ... I like the idea of taking time to change a piece of furniture, to have more needs: it would annoy me to have finished everything of a stroke !

The most unusual or unexpected that can be discovered at home?

Eéanthine Eglantine: It surprises, and can even sometimes shock: it is the color of the ground which is in a fairly straightforward green, pulling towards the yellow. At the beginning, there was a part of the floor in polished concrete and another with old tiles. It was very expensive to redo everything and I did not want to gray, so I dared this green.

An object or piece of furniture that you could not separate?

Eéanthine Eglantine: A sofa that does not go too much in the current decor but it is the first piece of furniture that I offered myself: it is in a pretty red raspberry.

Your favorite color in your home?

Eéanthine Eglantine: All the walls are white, except for part of the living room which is painted in an indefinable color: beige-sand-pink-brown. This gives a touch of color.

Your last purchase - useful or futile! - for the House ?

Eéanthine Eglantine: At home, there is not a new object but I chine only useful. I divert as willingly. I just found hooks for the entrance and I kept a whole series that will be used to hang my handbags.

How did you arrange the kitchen?

Eéanthine Eglantine: This is our space of life and reception! The back wall is in old brick, painted in color on the sides. There is a large work plan and in the center a huge square table that serves the whole family: we do our cooking competitions and homework. Everything has been studied. There is mainly stainless steel and wood. I have few tin objects but lots of glass jars to store all the groceries. The spices are in old medicine jars. All the utensils, the mugs, as for them, are suspended. For decoration, I installed a series of black and white portraits of my ancestors.

A dish unexpectedly on the go for your friends? Your specialty?

Eéanthine Eglantine: Tonight it will be a Japanese dinner on the coffee table in the living room; I will order sushi. The children are delighted because they will be able to disguise themselves.

And the TV, which room?

Eéanthine Eglantine: I dreamed of a hidden TV but it was complicated. As I made a custom library on a wall, it finds itself embedded in the middle of books. And not to disturb my eldest son, there is another one in the room.

What type of storage did you adopt in your library?

Eéanthine Eglantine: There is a dedicated column for children with their course books, DVDs, books of knowledge and most are mixed because arranged according to their size. I like the idea of searching at random ... There are those that I want and want to keep because they have marked me, and there are those that I give by period.

Do you live with music or rather in silence ?

Eéanthine Eglantine: Maybe it's because I grew up in a family of eight, but for a long time I lived in silence. Today, however, when I'm the first to come home, I find it's too quiet and I put music on. I have lots of CDs ... of all styles.

Rather candle or rather perfume of atmosphere?

Eéanthine Eglantine: Rather coconut and vanilla scent candles, in memory of my childhood spent in the islands.

Curtains, doors, shutters? What does it inspire you?

Eéanthine Eglantine: Shutters, I love! But I hate electric shutters that ruin the facades ... As I have a large canopy and windows on the courtyard, I do not need curtains, except in the rooms. I hung some hangings that I recovered, they are very thick and heavy but I am not satisfied: I look for the blackout but light because I like linen. Maybe I will install wooden interior shutters ...

For the separations, I put some vintage doors that I stripped where there are traces of painting, sometimes even writings of all kinds, names, small drawings ...

What is on your bedside table?

Eéanthine Eglantine: A candle, a moisturizer for the feet and a bedside lamp mottled but it does not suit me anymore and I'm looking for another one! Under the bedside table, there is storage, ideal for books. I'm done "Do not shoot the mocking bird" from Harper Lee and I have just started Georges-Marc Benamou's book "The last Mitterrand".

A storage trick?

Eéanthine Eglantine: As I really chine a lot, it fills! Today, my principle is when a new object comes in, another must come out.

A deco tip?

Eéanthine Eglantine: In the series of coat hooks I just bought, I hung one on the side of my desk. It's ideal for hanging my handbag that I never knew where to put!

Rather orderly or messy?

Eéanthine Eglantine: I'm a mess that tidies up to ten times a day. As everything is visible in this apartment, I became very rowdy!

Are you green plants, flowers, balcony, terrace, garden?

Eéanthine Eglantine : I do not have the green thumb but there is a small space in front of the door where I put plants and flowers which my companion takes care of.
