Where does SPA president Natacha Harry live?

GUYON Nathalie / FTV

It is in her place of heart, her country house of the Pays d'Auge, that Natacha Harry, the veto journalist of France 2 and president of the SPA (Society for the Protection of Animals), shared with us one of her other passions: the decoration. It will be found in prime time on France 2, January 2, 2016 at 20:55, in a special broadcast on the occasion of the 170 years of the SPA. Interview.

In addition to her veto on France 2, in the Télématin show, Natacha Harry has been elected president of the SPA since 2013. We know less than one of her great passions, after animals, it's the decor! The best proof is the energy she has deployed for a year to build her country house from top to bottom. Initially, Natacha had a crush on the Pays d'Auge region. But the trigger, when she visited this mansion of the eighteenth, was an orange godin cooker. She had already dreamed of it for an inner precedent. He embodies the symbol of conviviality of this house where she likes to receive family and friends! Private tour with his faithful Labrador, Max.

Your favorite room where you like to be and spend time?

Natacha Harry: In the living rooms of the ground floor, especially the kitchen and the large living room with the huge fireplace.

Your furniture: rather modern, ultra design, family, pitcher?

Natacha Harry: It is a mix of chic and modern country furniture, with objects sometimes very colorful.

The most unusual or unexpected that can be discovered at home?

Natacha Harry: It's less unusual than the very warm atmosphere that strikes my friends when they come to this house.

An object or piece of furniture that you could not separate?

Natacha Harry: My big orange Godin cooker. It reinforces the convivial side. This is a model that I spotted at the manufacturer at a time when I was restoring an apartment in Paris and I already had the project to install it, but it could not be done.

Your favorite color in your home?

Natacha Harry: I repainted the exterior and all the half-timberings in gray and inside the beams are whitewashed on two levels. It brings modernity, clarity and especially breaks the rustic aspect. In the end, so there are very few wood tones.

Your last purchase - useful or futile! - for the House ?

Natacha Harry: A retro bed for my little girl that I found at Laurette's.

The kitchen, rather open or closed?

Natacha Harry: The kitchen is open: it is separated from the living room but communicates by a bar. There is a beautiful old stone sink. Mix of genres for furniture: they are partly in stainless steel and glazed. Similarly for the credence, there is a part in wood and tomettes. On the ground, they are large old slabs as in the priory. This is the same pavement almost everywhere, except in the living room which is parquet, with blades very large and rustic appearance. Especially no carpet on the ground floor, because here we lead the real country life: my dog goes out and comes back as he wants ...

A dish unexpectedly on the go for your friends? Your specialty?

Natacha Harry: A small omelet in the bush with a green salad.

And the TV, which room?

Natacha Harry: I laid out a TV lounge on the second floor, but we watch it very little during weekends and holidays.

Do you live with music or rather in silence?

Natacha Harry: Rather in music, with a baby of ten months, the passage of the friends, the rustling of a small stream which crosses the garden ...

Rather candle or rather perfume of atmosphere?

Natacha Harry: Rather atmosphere perfume diffuser. I tend to go everywhere because I am very sensitive to odors. I like that the linens feel good, it emits a pleasant but discreet perfume.

Curtains, doors, shutters? What does it inspire you?

Natacha Harry: The windows give a stamp and are an essential element of the decor. I kept the typical little Norman tiles, windows with wolf mouths with Spanishettes. They have all been redone by Atulam, the specialist in the custom wood window. Inside and out, they are dark gray in a bluish gray. The front door was also changed from an old manor gate, which I had made a photo on the Internet. No shutters or curtains on the ground floor, only in the bedrooms. I preferred flax and big cotton, in natural colors.

What is on your bedside table?

Natacha Harry: My phone and pictures of my family: I like it pretty clean.

A deco trick or storage?

Natacha Harry: On the 2nd floor of the house, it was necessary to cleverly arrange the rooms under the four-sided roof. I installed a headboard that moves forward and allows to have closets in the back. Similarly in the bathroom, I transformed the volumes to optimize the sub-slopes in storage spaces.

And the books?

Natacha Harry: I installed a library, but most of my books are piled up in Paris. I must make a great transhumance, because I have just a shelf that has just collapsed.

Do you dream of one more room? If so, for what purpose?

Natacha Harry: An extra bedroom space.

Rather orderly or messy?

Natacha Harry: Orderly enough but with a family, a dog and a baby, we put limits to his maniaquerie!

Are you green plants, flowers, balcony, terrace, garden?

Natacha Harry: I love to imagine gardens for the garden but I do not have a green thumb. Depending on the season, I also like having colorful bouquets in the house. At the moment, it's my hydrangea period ...

And Max, does he have a place of his own in the house?

Natacha Harry: Max has his dog pillow in the living room, in a good place to participate in the life of the house, but he also likes to sleep in front of the door of my daughter's room.

Your addresses or favorite brands for the home (shopping, decoration, florist, etc.)?

Natacha Harry:

- For the renovation of windows:

- For furniture and small decorative items, I buy a lot on sofas, dishes, sheets, I have little time to shop, every day they offer different things, the products are great quality. I furnished this house and my interior of Paris, and I bought three quarters of furniture on this site.
