After the success of "Happiness is not a girl sport", she has just published at Belfond "Simplicity of the blow of club", its second novel.
His favorite neighborhood? The left Bank. The decoration ? She adores. So when she had to move, the family growing, Elise Tielrooy was not afraid to break everything and embark on a huge project.
If he does not have the soul of a Haussmannian building, his apartment on the top floor of a building of the 60s, has the advantage of being fully bathed in light, to the point of feeling " as in a jar "with" total screen of rigor with the first rays of sun! How was the site?
Elise Tielrroy: The place where we live is capital. The asset of this apartment is to be through but when I visited, the light did not pass because of its small rooms. I adapted it to my lifestyle to enjoy the sun at all times of the day.
I can even see a grain coming from far away! Although I knew what I wanted to do, I called a professional for the design and execution of the work. I broke everything and reversed the order of the pieces: the work lasted four months. But a construction site is like milk on the fire, it's watching!
Your favorite room where you like to be and spend time?
Elise Tielrooy: Everything is open but there are sliding walls, especially to isolate the living room-TV! I spend most of my time in this living space and I work on the table where we dine. It's over time when you had to have a separate kitchen, a living room to receive, everything was relaxed!
Where did you write your latest novel "The simplicity of the club blow"?
Elise Tielrooy: Mostly at home or coffee, but I can write everywhere, by train, even on film sets. I always have a block because I like to keep the first idea and the thread of thought before moving to the computer. I write on blocks with small squares, sometimes small notebooks. I love it and I'm full.
Your furniture: rather modern, ultra design, family, pitcher?
Elise Tielrooy: A happy mix! This is what creates the personality of an interior, as when one dresses. I have a lot of antique furniture.

The most unusual or unexpected that can be discovered at home?
Elise Tielrooy: The view almost 360 degrees on the roofs of Paris!
An object or piece of furniture that you could not separate?
Elise Tielrooy: A suitcase ! I consider that it must contain what matters most to me. An object replaces itself: the attachment to things must be limited. It's a discipline of life. My suitcase contains my notebooks and some photo albums! The leather I had at 18 was replaced since then by another of the same size. Just like what's in because, over the years, I'm changing priorities and trying to sort it out.
Your favorite color in your home?
Elise Tielrooy: I love colors ! There is yellow, a green of gray ... And recently, I discovered a passion for the Majorelle blue of which I painted a small piece of wall.
A deco tip?
Elise Tielrooy: I move the furniture ... and renew the colors, changing the curtains, the cushions, the accessories.
The kitchen, rather open or closed?
Elise Tielrooy: It is too open: I would like to open-closed? Everything is hidden. Little apparent material. No dishes. There is a lot of storage along the walls with yellow doors. All appliances are in a huge closet: a real dressing room appliances! The central island is in white Corian with oak doors.
A dish unexpectedly on the go for your friends? Your specialty?
Elise Tielrooy: The dish of the day of the caterer! I love to receive but it paralyzes me to prepare.
And the TV, which room?
Elise Tielrooy: Out of the question that the TV is in the room. The TV lounge is a separate room with a sliding door, located between the children's part and the common part.
Do you live with music or rather in silence?
Elise Tielrooy: The true silence, I experienced it only in the far North! As I live open windows, silence is the sound of the city. I do not work in music, sometimes with the singing of birds when they do me the honor to come on the balcony ...
Rather candle or rather perfume of atmosphere?
Elise Tielrooy: Same answer: the scent of the city. And to cheer me up, especially in winter, I make an apple pie that embellishes the whole apartment.
Curtains, doors, shutters? What does it inspire you?
Elise Tielrooy: Shutters against the wind. Few doors. Curtains at some windows. I had flashed on 50s curtains with patterns in check and flowers, very colorful: brown-brick with a yellow-green, Majorelle blue, red-burgundy and vermilion.
What is on your bedside table?
Elise Tielrooy: A lamp obviously. A stack of books to read. I always have a notebook and a pencil ... with the hope of having beautiful ideas before falling asleep. All the funny treasures of children: things to repair, Playmobil figurines ... and for a long time, I even had a green plastic dinosaur that opened and closed the beak!
Do you dream of one more room? If so, for what purpose?
Elise Tielrooy: An office with the table of my dreams - a marble tray by French designer Tristan Auer - to spread all my notes ... I can close the door and leave behind my little world live!
Rather orderly or messy?
Elise Tielrooy : Between "bordonné" or "ordelique"! To use the English expression "Our house is clean enough to be healthy, and dirty enough to be happy", I like that it is clean enough and tidy to be found and quite messy for it to be alive , with more messy parts than others. If in the kitchen and living room, everything is tidy, I like there are here and there books, photos ...
Are you green plants, flowers, balcony, terrace, garden?
Elise Tielrooy: It's fundamental. I have a small terrace where I try to survive plants. Because the potted plant remains more fragile than in the ground. I planted small pines of 10 cm that reach almost a meter, lavender, a wisteria ... At this moment, I have a camellia that makes me shoots, it's gratifying. The plants reflect an inner state. With patience and attention, we feel thanked and honored by the plants: it's encouraging when we save. To have your hands in the ground chases worries, it is relaxing.
