Even if his real home is in Brussels, Alex Vizorek has settled down in Paris since 2013. From his studio of 14m2 overlooking the rooftops and Montparnasse Tower, the comedian has done a work of art. almost art. Interview with a messy who does not like disorder. No kidding !

Belgian and humorist, it can go together: the success of Alex Vizorek is the best proof. After his debut on the RTBF, he gained a foothold in the PAF: on Paris Première, he gets loose in "It balances in Paris" with his cultural ticket "Vizorek balance". On France Inter, in addition to a weekly column in the morning, he co-hosts the daily "If you listen, I cancel everything" with Charline Vanhoenacker.

Directed by Stephanie Bataille, his one man show "Alex Vizorek is a work of art" was a real success: on tour every Saturday, it will resume in Paris from the start of the 2016 school year.

Between two tight cafes, Alex Vizorek has agreed to reveal his Parisian hut, an attic studio in the 7th arrondissement, half-boat atmosphere, half-chalet. In this humorist philosopher, no superfluity: priority to freedom!

On the house side: Was it important to become an owner in Paris?

A. V. : It's a Belgian thing! I could not invest fortunes but by buying me a studio in a nice neighborhood, near the Louvre and Odeon, I take advantage of the essential: Paris. If my home in Brussels, incomparable in space, represents a place of life, here I feel pretty well and protected. But in three years, I hope I will not talk about my 14m2 anymore!

Is your interior a work of art?

A.V. Yes, there is a "mondrianesque" aspect and it is an art form to be able to arrange small spaces. Everything fits beautifully and everything is in its place. Everything is effective. As they are old rooms of good, I am high placed and I benefit from a very beautiful sight on the Montparnasse tower and the roofs of Paris.

Are you a do-it-yourselfer?

A. V. : At ten years old my mother asked me to change a light bulb, I broke it. From there, I did not do anything to persevere. I do not have any DIY skills.

Your furniture: rather modern, ultra design, family, pitcher?

A. V. : Rather modern. I have an anguish of the flea market: it makes me crazy! I hate objects that have a history and are dusty. At home, everything is new. Given the surface, it comes down to a desk and a sofa bed but I invested in a very good mattress! If I had the means, I could conceive of putting money for a nice table and a sofa. But before offering me beautiful furniture, I prefer to invest in a larger apartment.

The most unusual or unexpected that can be discovered at home ?

A. V. : The object sanctifies what is not important, but I have a problem with the material attachment. I therefore give little importance to objects because I am unhappy at the idea of losing or breaking them. I have very little, even in Brussels: I do not care. I can not imagine being robbed, I feel free.

What place do you give to your books?

A. V. : Again, as with other objects, I'm not attached to books. I do not have a great culture of the library. Once read, I give them. I proceed in the same way with CDs and DVDs: a hundred of them must hang out at friends' homes. It is very easy to get hold of a book by ordering it or to download a movie on the Internet. Everything must flow, especially in our era of dematerialization.

An object or piece of furniture that you could not separate?

A. V. : Being in detachment is the story of my life.

Your favorite color in your home?

A. V. : White and dark gray!

Your last purchase - useful or futile! - for the House ?

A. V. : A carafe "Brita" to use the water of the city of Paris!

A dish unexpectedly on the go for your friends? Your specialty ?

A. V. : As my father-in-law is Neapolitan, I like to make pasta. Whether with vegetables, meat, cream, tomato sauce ... it's "Noah's Ark of the kitchen" because you can put all kinds of ingredients. It relaxes me to cook: it's one of the rare moments when I do not think.

And the TV, which room?

A. V. : I did not have a TV until I had to do a column for a Nagui show. It was important that I could zap like a lambda viewer. She is hanging on the wall just above the bed; ideal for watching a match or movies and when I work, she is behind me.

Do you live with music or rather in silence?

A. V. : Silently ! The music distracts me for my work, but I can have some background information.

What type of lighting do you prefer?

A. V. : Just as I like strong lights in the breweries, I hate the subdued atmosphere of sores where we do not see what's on the plate! So at home, thoroughly the spots.

What is on your bedside table?

A. V. : No bedside table but piles of books. The book of the moment depends on the guest of the show. It is only the summer that I allow myself to resume reading the classics. I appreciated Nicolas Rey's latest work "Children who lie do not go to paradise".

A deco trick or storage?

A. V. : Do not be afraid to throw! Typically when we look at a magazine, we say we will keep it for this or that article to read and ultimately, we never do. All these magazines stacked, you have to throw them to make room once every three weeks! Especially in a place where there are not many.

Do you dream of one more room? If so, for what purpose?

A. V. : I would like a small terrace just to put a foot outside and enjoy the view! I'll talk about it at the next union council ...

Rather orderly or messy?

A. V. : Rather messy but with a respect of the arrangement. There are books that pile up, magazines and newspapers, notes that hang around everywhere: I'm the champion of the note that drags! But once a year, I make a big storage! And when I'm having a fit, I take two hours and I pull out the paraphernalia of the good cleaner, the bleach and I brick everywhere.

Are you green plants, flowers, balcony, terrace, garden?

A. V. : I ban everything that requires maintenance or responsibility. Neither green plants, nor flowers, nor cat nor dog: I just have a goldfish in Brussels! I need to be free of these constraints.
