Trap # 1: Paste wallpaper without checking wall absorption

Before embarking on the application of wallpaper, we often forget to check if the wall is absorbent. The wallpaper is applied to an inappropriate surface, which does not adhere, and comes off immediately. The good trick : Check the porosity of the wall, it should be normally absorbent. For this, we can appeal to "the technique of the drop of water". Take a wet sponge, press it against the wall. If the drop rolls quickly to the bottom, the wall is not absorbent. If the drop gradually fades and slides gently along the wall, it is an absorbent surface. The glue will adhere perfectly. On the other hand, if the wall is blocked, there may be a need for a print layer. A layer of basic acrylic paint can saturate the bottom a little.
